Happy with my purchase

This is my third automatic chicken door after two previous disappointments. First door was from a different Australian company but never quite worked right. Would occasionally stop closing half way down for no apparent reason. I returned it for a repair but never got it back! :( The fact they were too busy to fix and return it says something about the demand for repairs...

Second door was the most expensive. Was from the UK and a big investment in terms of price. It worked well but the light sensor wasn't adjustable and too sensitive for the part shade position my coop's located in. I would come home on a cloudy day to find some hens had been locked out. Not great when there a hawks around and nowhere for my hen babies to hide...

This lead me to Safe Coop and third time lucky! The door is as reliable as the UK one but has an adjustable light sensor AND a backup time closing if I forget to adjust the sensor when daylight hours change. It's given me such confidence compared to my previous doors. I wish I knew about Safe Coop from the beginning. I have been raving about the Safe Coop door to all my chicken mad friends...

Easy set up and working flawlessly.

Awesome door like the other reviews say. Looks great as well which is important to me given the amount of time it took to build what feels like a castle for my chooks. A+ for the design of this door guys

Does what it claims to do and working well. Had to scratch my head a bit on the instructions but this probably says more about me than the instructions themselves. All good.
